Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy sitting and coloring/painting with children. Teaching them ABCs , 123s , polite manners as a child. But making kids laugh is my main goal. I want them to be as comfortable around me as I am with any kid.
My experience with special needs children...
I have slight experience with special need children. I took a class as a senior in high school, working with special need children, helping with homework, going on field trips, and making them feel loved & welcome.
But my #1 experience is with my little brother who has Down Syndrome. He is sweet, wonderful, loving young little man. Growing up we didn’t always have the necessary money to get the needs for him. But what he did have is a loving & caring family. & he 100% knows that we love him, care for him, and all I really want is for him to be happy. His smile lights up my world. He is my world.
