Important things to me when being a nanny is connecting and understanding the children. Also realizing that this isn’t any job it’s a job that could either impact the child positively or negatively. It is also important to know that this job is more about the child than it is about the money.

I have taken care of many children with ADHD and ADD and also having family members with many different disabilities but I also believe that many people underestimate children with Special needs I believe they are very capable and can do a lot with the correct love and encouragement.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The best memories I had with the kids I’ve taken care of has been the seasonal memories like Christmas and summer. Just seeing the smile on the kids faces and when they start to be comfortable with me is also the best feeling and memory. Nothing is better than when a child can trust you and you can tell in their smile that you have impacted there lives positively.
