A little bit about me

My name is Sophia. I am 28 years old. I was born and raised in Colombia and now live in Berkeley. I am a fluent Spanish and English speaker.

I am looking for a part time job. I am available during the following times:
Mondays, 9-2pm
Tuesdays, 9-2pm
Thursday and Fridays open availability, my preference is range of 8am and 6pm.


I am looking to have a good working relationship with the family I provide care for ensuring mutual respect and communication.

Previously, I received my degree in education and worked as a preschool teacher in Colombia. My classrooms had up to 40 children in Colombia. While in the United States, I worked as an Au Pair for 3 years, worked in schools, and also supported other families with special needs.

I have long term experience working with children and can easily build rapport and positive relationships with them. Depending on the child’s needs and age, I can create activities, games, lessons and exploration opportunities
