A little bit about me

Hi Everyone!

My name is Anita and I just relocated to Arkansas. I am a travel NICU/PICU nurse. I have been taking a break from travel nursing. I have been nannying on and off since before the pandemic, with ages from 0-13
I have plenty of experience with multiples, twins. I am a very open minded individual who loves different cultures! I speak 4 languages. I love to read, so sensory activities, and outdoor exploration with kids is a must! It’s imperative that children get exposed to different textures, environment and feels. I love the Montessori way of learning and that’s how I have helped the family I am with now with lots of sensory issues. I am a nurse therefore I am 100% CPR, AED, infant/child certificate, BLS, flu vaccinated, Covid x4, and I have a sleep training certification, & no smoking over here! Clean lungs 🙂

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I cared for a lot of multiples and twins. 3 sets of twins were taken care of by me over the span of 3 years and all babies were premature babies. I then took care off toddlers also just babysitting on and off. I do well with both age groups, I can be the all around nanny who takes care of a new born and a toddler. I like to take kids to the park, little gym, etc. I also prioritize kids who are pre-kindergarten to help them before they go. If you think we are a good fit please message me:)

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Outdoor activities I love to do with kids is the park, museums, and things such as little gym. I like outdoor exportation because it gives kids time to get all their energy out. Arts and crafts outside is always fun as well!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Safety! Keeping another persons child safe when you are in charge of them for 8hrs of the day helps to keep parents minds at ease. Safety above all else!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Favorite moment I’ve had with one of the kids I worked with is when they finally learned how to swim, I taught this kiddo swim lessons since he was 6 months old and when he finally could flip on his back and kick to the wall it was such a happy moment! It filled me with joy :)
