I recently taught ski school at Jay Peak ski resort where I was primarily in the children's program 8:15- 4:30pm. Before that I volunteered at Vacation Bible school, Awana and Lifeguarded at different camps and pools.

Indoor I enjoy cooking, pretend playing, reading and building forts along with making crafts. Outside I enjoy exploring and learning the plants and animals of the area and sports.

As a nanny you are a part of that families' memories forever now. I want to be remembered as someone who is trustworthy and personable. Someone who always had your back and that you could look up to.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience with children who need more physical help as well as children who need more mental stimulation and organization. Some things I have helped with are medication management and processing techniques.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments- Me and three boys are going to the community swimming pool. We had previously made a playlist of songs to listen to titled "boys rule". Appropriate songs and their favorites, it was the cherry on top of a pool day! I hand my phone for them to find it and start playing it and they start playing another playlist titled "from the boys of the house" it was my dad and brothers work out playlist that I happened to also have on my phone. Heavy Rock N Roll music, guitar solos all that. A few weeks later I started taking the oldest to guitar classes because he "never knew you could have that much fun just listening to music". Music and air guitars became our thing.
