Activities I enjoy doing with children...
When I babysit, I always try to make sure the activities match the child’s age and personality. With infants, I keep things calm and simple—like reading board books, singing lullabies, and playing with soft toys or doing tummy time. For toddlers, I love doing things like dancing to music, stacking blocks, or going outside for a walk or to play. With preschoolers and younger kids, I usually bring out coloring books, do simple crafts, read stories, or play pretend games. When I watch older kids or teens, we might bake something together, play card or board games, watch a movie, or just hang out and talk. I try to keep things fun, safe, and a little different each time so they’re never bored.

The most important aspect of being a nanny is making sure each kid is valued, heard, and understood. As a nanny, I try to make sure each kid is included in every decision - whether it's what we have for lunch or what story we read before bed time.

My favorite moment when babysitting was when I watched this group of kids on New Years. We had a "sleepover" so that way the parents could have child free evening. We painted, did so many fun crafts, and watched every single Trolls movie!
