I also work with a company called Aveanna healthcare and I take care of children with special needs. It’s so wonderful working with them and being able to learn from them and also being able to help the families if they need help with understanding special care. A lot of the time it’s the families trying to make the child with special needs adapt to them but it should be the other way around. Learning and understanding how to adapt to the child has so much significance when it comes to the child’s trust and their ability to be teachable.
