I have an 18 year old special needs brother that I've helped care for since he was a child, and have many other babysitting experiences with all types of children. I have worked with autistic children as well as those diagnosed with ADHD and other disorders. I've taught children math and reading, and have one year of experience being a live in nanny.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy outdoor activities, going on walks, to the park, playing sports, etc. I played softball, volleyball and basketball growing up, and love helping young children find their passion, whether it be sports or anything else. I also enjoy inside activities like playing board, card, or video games, cooking, watching TV, etc.

My experience with special needs children...
My brother has extreme cerebral palsy due to not getting enough oxygen at birth. He requires help walking, feeding, getting dressed, showering, etc. My parents worked several jobs each while I was growing up, so I was able to care for him by myself as well. I am well educated in the habits and tendencies of special needs children and absolutely LOVE meeting and getting to know each child!
