I am a retired elementary school teacher. I also have 6 years of daycare/preschool experience. I have 3 older children, 4 nieces, and 5 nephews, ages 1 1/2 years to 18 years old. I have worked as a parent educator with the Family Guidance Center, as well.

I enjoy playing games with children outside. With younger children, I like tossing and catching a ball, playing with bubbles and sidewalk chalk. With older children, I like playing a variety of sports, such as basketball, soccer, volleyball, and kickball.

Some of the indoor activities that I enjoy include: creating art projects, reading children’s books to children, putting on music for them to dance to, and playing board games with them.

Hi! I’m someone who genuinely enjoys being around kids and creating a fun, safe environment for them. Next year, I’ll be majoring in Early Childhood Education, so working with children is something I’m not only passionate about, but also something I’m planning to build my future around.
I have experience working with elementary-aged children and I’m comfortable helping with things like homework, keeping routines on track, and just making sure they’re having a good time while staying safe.
I’m patient, responsible, and pretty good at handling different personalities and situations calmly. I also try to actually engage with kids instead of just supervising them, whether that’s playing games, helping with activities, or just talking with them.
I understand how important it is for parents to feel comfortable and trust who they’re leaving their kids with, so I always try to be reliable, communicative, and respectful of your expectations. I’d love the opportunity to help out your family!

I'm an honest, adventurous, accountable, and caring childcare provider with a passion for helping children grow, learn, and explore life. Im in the Army National Gaurd. I enjoy outdoor sports and physical games, as well as educational games that promote learning. With 3 years of experience caring/babysitting for children, l'm comfortable caring for up to three children and working with age groups ranging from infants to 11-year-olds. I follow the parents' lead in terms of enforcing household rules and prefer to communicate about their child's day or any issues that arise through written daily reports, verbal communication at pickup, and by following the parents' preferred communication method. I hold a graduate degree, I am not currently CPR certified but if it’s something that is required I can look into it more! I also love pets and am comfortable caring for them. I hope I get the opportunity to care for your child and be a part of their journey of discovery and growth.
