A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Annie and I am the eldest of seven children, I am 18 years old and I have had lots of experience taking care of my own siblings, as well as babysitting for families at church. I normally would be volunteering as a counselor at a children’s Bible camp during the summer but I needed to stay home and work more this year and was sad to think that I wouldn’t get to be with the kids at camp, which then got me hoping to be a nanny. I have also had some experience with kids who have special needs. I work with an older student, as a “mentor”at Bethel university, who has down syndrome. I also currently work at a greenhouse but should be done with that at the end of May/ beginning of June. I am willing to drive somewhat further from where I live(Ramsey), but preferably not much farther than a 40 minute drive.

Some Indoor things I like to do with kids are playing games or imagining things with them, and sometimes maybe some art, and outdoor activities that I enjoy with kids are exploring or learning new things together about animals/plants, I also enjoy picnics and going to parks. I really just enjoy kids in general though, they can make a lot of things fun!
