My name is Annie..i now reside in High Point, NC:; but will soon be transitioning to Statesville, NC at the end of February 2021....I have over 25 years of childcare work and my last job was at a Christian Academy in High Point where i was employed there for over 11 and a half years. I love children i'm been in this field since i was 18 years old off and on and i seem to somehow find my way back to it. My current job I've cared for my bosses girls who are now 5 and 8 which where previous students of mine at the Academy i worked at. I look forward to meeting and working with more happy but also different personalities again...it was a joy.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Did homework at 8:30 am...9:30 until about 10:30 we went bike riding or went to the park. Afternoon we went walking for exercise then come back and did art whether it was chalk writing on sidewalk or coloring. We played board games, frisbee throwing, jump roping etc..

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is relationship...not only with the kids but the parents as well. You are literally taking over the role as that adult figure they begin to bond with just as a parent. Their has to be trust and also integrity but most of all love. You have to love what you do and i still love it to this day.

My experience with special needs children...

Had 2 kids it my class that has signs of autism very smart boy and girl but i loved them dearly. Patience is the key with them and allowing them to have their own space is very important to them. Extra attention was given to them but they did well
