A little bit about me

Hi, I’m Annika and I’ve been babysitting and working in church nurseries since I was 12 years old. I am currently a part time nanny for 8 children ages 5 months - 12 years. I have been with this family for 5 years and am looking for another part time nanny job.
I absolutely love kids and am more than happy to help out with things around the house like cleaning, laundry, cooking, etc.
I am also an artist, so if you have any children that enjoy arts and crafts I’d be happy to help encourage them in that area.
I do not currently have a hard and fast schedule, so if you’re looking for someone to work outside the times I’ve given I may be able to work something out. As I do have another nanny job at the moment, I will require advance notice for anything outside the agreed upon scheduling. I am open to last minute scheduling though so long as it doesn’t conflict with my other job.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe and loving atmosphere where the child can learn and grow as a human being with age appropriate boundaries. While I can obviously never replace the time a child spends with their parents, I want them to feel that same love and connection that they would have around their parents.

I currently am a nanny for an autistic child, and have experience taking care of foster care kids as well.
