Besides safety, the most important part about being a nanny is investing time and energy to develop a trusting and loving relationship with the kids, so they feel just as safe and cared for with me as they do with a close relative or family friend.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Although I have not been a nanny, my favorite substitute teacher moment was 2 years ago when I taught a 4th grade class for a month because the teacher had COVID. I grew super close with the kids and have so many fun memories. One my last day, my kids made me a card and all signed it. I still have this note and will cherish it forever.
