Growing up, I was always asked to look after my little sister. There is a four-year age gap between us. I also used to go around the neighborhood and search of babysitting jobs to earn extra money!! I’ve always loved children and I think it’s really fun to grow a bond with them and understand what they’re understanding and feeling!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I absolutely love the outdoors, so especially in the warmer months I love to take children. I’m with to the pool or hiking. I think it’s really important that children are able to learn as much as they can, especially about tasks and genres that interest them such as all the wonderful things you could see on a hike.!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I personally think the most important part about being a nanny is being flexible. Children, regardless of their age can be very back-and-forth with their emotions and their feelings as they are still understanding how to cope with them so I think patience and kindness are two of the most important personality traits needed to be a successful nanny, and to be somebody that your kids can trust!!
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was definitely when I was with a younger girl around six years old and we were trying our best at making cookies from scratch and we ended up with flower all over ourselves. It was wonderful to see how excited and happy she was just trying to do this!… they tasted pretty good 😝
