A little bit about me

Hello, I am a mother of a 12 year old girl. So I have very relevant experience! I have worked in the nursing field for 18 years, but need something different. My hours are flexible, so are my days. I love kids, and at the age of 37 I figured out being with them all day makes me the happiest. My daughter is in school so I do car pool for her and can arrive around 8:30/9 am, however I need to pick her up around 3:20. I can return to your house if needed, my daughter may come with me sometimes if that is a possibility. It would be a plus, she is great with kids and entertaining them. I am also an animal lover. I can give you references, for some reason it won’t allow me to do so on here.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I am a mother so that is very relevant experience! I have a 12 year old daughter. I also worked as a nanny while I was in college, I worked for two families so had kids ranging in ages from 5 months to 3 years. I also have worked in healthcare and have experience working with children who have special needs.
I am trained in nursing skills, I have a current BLS and CPR as well.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Anything! I have learned with my kiddo that imagination goes a long way and can be so fun. I love to incorporate outdoor activities with physical activities and i love reading books and playing games.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I would want someone to take care of my child the way I do, to care, love and be honest. I know that feeling of leaving your baby with someone you don’t know, but I promise you don’t have to worry.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with autistic children, I also have learned a lot about ADHD due to my own daughter.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Very random but I use to have a 2 year old boy who wanted to watch the movie WALL-E almost everyday. And when it came on he would scream WALL-E and just laugh to hard. Love those moments!
