Playing with my toddler charge in the park, encouraging her to climb a small staircase. She said she wasn't ready, and I told her she didn't have to climb until she did. The next time we went, she was nervous, but I talked her through it step by step, and she got to the top by herself. She had the biggest smile, and felt confident in herself because I didn't have to help her, but was there if she needed support.
