More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
includes my time working in a daycare, where I supported children both one-on-one and in group settings. I worked mostly with children ages 2 and up and helped with daily routines such as meals, playtime, learning activities, and transitions throughout the day.
I also cared for a child with developmental delays and provided extra support to help him with communication, learning basic skills, and staying engaged during activities. These experiences have helped me build patience, flexibility, and a strong understanding of how to create a safe, fun, and supportive environment for kids.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I have a strong passion for engaging children in activities such as arts and crafts, music and dancing, storytime, and building with blocks. However, I recognize that every child has unique interests, so I tailor activities based on what resonates most with each individual child. Regardless of the activity, I make it a priority to incorporate educational elements into everything I do, ensuring that learning is integrated into fun, hands-on experiences.
I enjoy taking the children outside whenever the weather permits, as it provides an excellent opportunity to keep them active and engaged. Activities such as drawing with chalk, playing simple ball games, enjoying bubble play, and going on nature walks are some of the ways I encourage outdoor exploration and physical activity. These activities not only promote a healthy lifestyle but also offer children a chance to connect with their environment in a fun and educational way.

My experience with special needs children...
I have experience working with a child who had developmental delays in a daycare setting, and I supported him both one-on-one and in group activities. When I first started working with him, he was nonverbal. Over about five months, with consistent support, he made wonderful progress—he learned his ABCs, started naming colors and shapes, and was even able to recognize and name the people in his classroom.
I helped him learn by turning everyday moments into teaching opportunities. During playtime or clean-up, I’d ask simple questions, label items, and encourage him to use words or gestures. I adjusted activities to fit his needs so he could stay engaged and feel successful.
I’m also a registered behavior technician (RBT), which gives me additional training in supporting children with autism and developmental delays. My goal is always to meet each child where they are, help them feel understood, and celebrate every step forward.
