I have been working with children since 2019, starting with caring for triplets at one year old and watching them grow into elementary school-aged children. In high school, I participated in Partners Art, supporting children with special needs. After graduating, I continued visiting a family’s home to help support their child with special needs by being a helper, companion, and someone they could talk to. After graduating from college, I wanted to return to childcare because I genuinely enjoy helping children learn, grow, and feel supported.

I enjoy both indoor and outdoor activities with children, including arts and crafts, reading, puzzles, educational games, baking, and imaginative play. Outdoors, I love going on walks, visiting playgrounds, playing games, exploring nature, and creating fun, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning, creativity, and development.

The most important part of being a nanny is making sure every child feels safe, loved, valued, and supported. I believe in building trust with both the children and their families while creating a fun, nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and feel confident being themselves.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience supporting children with special needs since high school through Partners Art, where I helped a child with autism and Asperger’s with everyday tasks, including washing his hands, drawing, choosing activities, and communicating. I also provided companionship by talking with them-and encouraging independence. I have grown up around individuals with special needs and believe in being patient, understanding, inclusive, and supportive of each child’s unique needs.
