Hi, I'm Ariana, I came to US in 2023, my first experiences in the country were in Alaska, where I worked as a nanny taking care for a 6-month-old girl. After that I returned to my country to finish my degree in psychology with a clinical focus, so I also took care of children with special needs.
I also have a previous experience in my country. I worked in a daycare, caring for and helping with the routines of children between 6 months and 4 years old (experience with teaching speech and motor development).
I'm into cooking, painting, do crafts and exploring the nature in a fun and educational way.
I am bilingual, a native Spanish speaker, and I would love introduce it to your kids If that's what you want.
I'm open to discuss if you need help with other kind of activities in the house, like cleaning, cooking, laundry, pet walking.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was teacher in a kindergarten for around 5 months. I studied my major in psychology, so I have experienced in providing personalized care for children with disabilities.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I truly enjoy engaging children in activities that spark their curiosity and independence. I love spending time outdoors, exploring nature with them and turning a simple walk into a discovery adventure. I am also very creative and enjoy organizing hands-on craft projects where they can express themselves. One of my favorite things to do is cook and bake with them; I like giving children a leading role in the kitchen, allowing them to measure, mix, and learn new skills. For me, it’s all about creating fun, meaningful experiences where they feel empowered to learn by doing.

My experience with special needs children...

My experience with special needs is deeply rooted in my Psychology background. I worked at a foundation supporting children with Cerebral Palsy, many of whom also had co-occurring conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), epilepsy, and other complex medical needs. This role allowed me to provide highly personalized care, focusing on their emotional well-being and developmental progress. I am comfortable managing diverse challenges and am dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive environment where every child, regardless of their physical or cognitive abilities, can thrive and participate in meaningful activities.
