More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
i've volunteered three years in a row at my church. in those three years, i was a youth camp leader, in which i took care of and handled 8 kids (each year), age ranging from 5-13 years old. i was also a pre-school teacher assissant at this church. during that time, some things i would do was lead afternoon snack prayer, assisst kids during bathroom breaks, cleaned up + prep snacks, etc... in addition, i volunteered at the daycare/camp at my church called, Roots.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
i absolutely love going to the park to walk around! i have lots of coloring books that i like to do. i also enjoy dancing to music with kids or simply sitting with them while they watch the kids’ tv.
The most important part about being a nanny...
i think an important quality every nanny should have would be patience. kids are so gentle! being able to teach them what’s wrong and right, without bursting out at them or getting mad is key. patience goes a long way with everyone.
