My mother owned a daycare while I was growing up, and I was always around children. It’s where my love for kids began.
As an adult, I’ve worked in two separate five star child care centers before going into private nannying for some amazing families I met while working at the centers. I’ve nannied for five amazing families and remain in contact with all. Working at the two separate child care facilities gave me a broader understanding and perspective on helping with children. It exposed me to many different types of families and children with different dynamics. It allowed me to gain valuable insight with balancing multiple children (once you master ten toddlers alone, you feel a bit like a superhero.) and issues at once. I was able to really hone my patience and get really good at parent communication as well. I’m thankful I’ve been able to get the sort of experience I have.
