A little bit about me

Hello, my name is Ariel. I am a 30 year old mother of one currently working in health care looking to get back into nannying. I was a nanny for just over a year before moving to the nursing field. I am familiar with kids all ages! I come from a very large family and have been told by many I am the “fun house”. My nickname is sunshine (given to me by coworkers). I love to stay active and being outside. I also don’t mind staying in and doing crafts or building forts! I have a little brother is nonverbal and tear two on the autism spectrum who I have helped take care of for 10 years now. I am cpr certified and have worked in health care since 2019. So it is safe to say I have worked with people of any and all ages, backgrounds and am very comfortable with routine but do understand everyday is new and surprises do arise. I like to think I am quick thinking, patient, kind and care about people.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a live in nanny for about a year before taking some time off to help family. I loved making breakfast for the little ones, taking them to the park, doing crafts and watching them grow. After my break I dove into the medical field were I currently am part time as a Cna.

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me the most important part of being a nanny is to remember that every child learns and perceives life differently. Most importantly keep things light and fun!

My experience with special needs children...

I have a brother who is nonverbal and tier 2 on the autism spectrum. I have helped take care of him alongside my mother for 11 years now! I have learned so much, including sign language.
