Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have over 8 years of childcare experience, including operating a state-licensed in-home daycare. I cared for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children, including caring for multiple children at once. My experience includes creating daily routines, preparing meals and snacks, potty training, basic sign language, age-appropriate learning activities, supporting developmental milestones, maintaining a safe environment, and communicating closely with parents. I have also provided before- and after-school, evening, overnight, and weekend care.

I love doing activities that are both fun and educational! Depending on the child’s age and interests, I enjoy reading, arts and crafts, sensory activities, music and dancing, outdoor play, nature walks, imaginative play, educational games, and age-appropriate learning activities. I also enjoy incorporating everyday routines into opportunities for children to learn, build independence, and develop confidence.

The most important part of being a nanny is trust. Parents are trusting you with the most important person in their life, and I take that responsibility very seriously. I believe a great nanny should provide children with love, patience, consistency, safety, and genuine attention while also respecting the family’s routines, values, and parenting style. My goal is for parents to feel confident and at peace while their children are in my care, knowing they are safe, loved, and well cared for.

I have experience caring for children with different developmental needs and understand that every child is unique. I believe in being patient, attentive, and flexible while learning each child’s individual communication style, routines, strengths, and needs. My approach is always centered around creating a safe and supportive environment where every child feels included, respected, and encouraged to thrive.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moments are the little ones that show you a child feels safe and comfortable with you, whether it’s a child finally reaching a milestone they’ve been working toward, hearing them proudly tell you something they learned, or simply having them run up excited to see you. Those moments remind me that childcare is about so much more than supervision. You get the opportunity to become a trusted person in a child’s life and make a positive impact on their growth and development.
