I have always been the babysitter at family functions and it followed me into adulthood. My mom had a difficult pregnancy and poor post both health, so I helped out and learned a lot. My younger sibling developed childhood OCD and got overstimulated easily. I learned how to properly stimulate a child without over stimulating, and I learned how to manage a breakdown. I also learned redirection techniques to help break an OCD “attack”.
