From a small town in Louisiana, to DFW, I'm a therapist, and am currently in school online for holistic nutrition, so I currently have an open and available schedule to take on clients looking for child care - which I am very excited about! From teaching dance through high school, to nannying full time during the summer, I love children! I enjoy learning and tending to different personalities, being there for my clients in ways that are truly supportive. I care deeply for the development of each child - I was homeschooled and helped teach my younger siblings as I got older, so I take what I learned through the years and have combined my dance and music teaching skills with educational teaching skills and I find that children absolutely love it!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a nanny for two years, this family had a 2 1/2 year old boy that I cared for full time, while occasionally also cared for their autistic 6 year old.

I babysat two sisters ages 3-5 twice a week 3-9 pm, for three years.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Nature nature nature, reading, safely involving them in cooking with me, arts and crafts, dancing, singing, guitar and piano, bike riding, walking, spa day, shopping, learning learning learning!

My experience with special needs children...

I worked for a beautiful family who had an Autistic 6 year old boy, and it became quickly clear how much kindness, patience, and grace it requires to care for a child with special needs, and I think it's where my heart is really at, just because they teach me so much and are so so very intelligent, and when someone takes the time to learn them and their communication styles, anything is possible.
