Hi! I am 17 years old in high school near Brentwood, California, looking for a part time job, which involves helping and caring for children. I have a minimum of 5 years of related childcare experience from dance studios, to babysitting cousins and more. I have training in CPR, First Aid, and sports medicine. I have worked with kids from all ages, as young as 8 months to as old as 14. I genuinely love being around and taking care of children. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have been an assistant dance teacher at a local studio for about 3 years as needed. I volunteered to help out as a staff member with recitals and Nutcracker shows, which includes chaperoning 200 kids and taking care of them.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing just about anything that your child loves! I enjoy teaching/helping out with school, arts/crafts, playing sports, video games, going on bike rides or to the park, swimming too! I am open to doing anything with your kids!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is to help out parents/families with their children, and taking care of them as if they were my own: protecting them, making sure they are safe, helping teach or guide, and overall making sure the kids are comfortable and happy, along with helping out with house chores, etc. Being a nanny/babysitter is not only a great learning experience for myself, but for everyone involved. If I have the ability to send out a helping hand, that is what I would do in a heartbeat.

My experience with special needs children...

I have helped out with a child who was legally blind. She was older so it was easier but I helped her navigate around, along with getting daily chores and needs done. I have an uncle who has special needs (autism and is quadriplegic) so I have helped my Grandmother take care of him (feeding, changing diapers, bathing, etc.)

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment when I was taking care of a couple kids is when they all gave me their drawings of me. I love art and teaching it so they used what I taught them to surprise me. I did cry a little because it was so sweet. My general favorite moments are when I get to surprise kids with homemade breakfast or when I get to sing or tell stories for bedtime :)
