More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Starting at 12 is when I started my journey in child care. Since then I’ve had opportunities to work in a daycares, MDO programs, babysitting, and nanny positions with travel opportunities. I have a big family so growing up there were lots of littles around the same age and I was the go to sitter, which I enjoyed!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Some indoor activities I enjoy with the children are painting, hide n seek, the floor is lava, dancing parties, video games, and popping popcorn and watching a movie.
Some favorite outdoor activities are walking to the park, riding bikes, walks, painting outside, cloud watching in the hammock, playing tag, having races, blowing bubbles, and playing whatever games they made up.
I do incorporate educational things within our play time like colors, counting, spelling, or reading nearby signs!

The most important part about being a nanny...
PATIENCE and communication.
Having patience is imperative because there will be moments when can test the waters with a “i don’t have to listen to you!” approach as they get used to having someone else in “command.”Communication is important for the kids and for the parents so that they can know what their kids are up to throughout the day. Sending pics of them napping or videos of the kids being silly are some helpful ideas to keep the parents at ease.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I have a lot favorite nanny moments so I’ll name a few.
Some of my favorite nanny moments were
⭒ everyday when the oldest would get off the bus she was always so happy to see me she’d run super fast and give me the biggest hug!
⭒ when the youngest finally learned how to say my name with her little baby accent.
⭒ seeing the kids go from dreading being outside to looking forward to it!
