Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked at a childcare center since 2013. I’ve had the roles of Lead Toddler Teacher, Lead Preschool Teacher and Administrator. I’ve also worked with elementary school children in general and special education classrooms.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy teaching children and helping them understand their school work. I specialize in math and English especially. I enjoy playing board games, educational games, card games, and video games with children. I also enjoy playing sports with children, doing crafts, and overall fun learning experiences.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part about being a nanny is creating a comfortable, fun and safe environment for families. Providing parents with security while fulfilling duties and going above to show genuine care. I think it’s important as a nanny to love what you do because people who love their jobs are typically more successful at them since more care is put into place.

My experience with special needs children...

I have a lot of experience working with special needs children. I gained this experience and skills through working at a child care center, a school and an after school program. Most of my experience is working with autistic children of all ages from moderate to severe autism. I currently work as a Registered Behavior Technician for children with autism.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moments are the times children show me that they’re happy and feel safe in my care. A lot of times it’s hard for children to be away from their parents. I was one of those children so when a child shows me that I make them feel comfortable and loved, it’s one of the best feelings! And it gives my job so much more meaning.
