A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Asha, I am 22 years old. The oldest of 4 children! I grew up in Northwest Iowa and was involved in a lot of things! Being raised on a farm I was taught at a young age what chores were and they later become every day habits for me, such as cleaning, dishes, laundry, etc. I was a nanny for almost a year and then moved away to Nebraska to show/train horses internationally. I am now back in Sioux Falls and hoping to a find a family that will allow me to love on their littles while they’re away!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love being outdoors, but also like doing indoor activities! I was raised on a farm so animals are in my comfort zone as well and I’m totally fine with them!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Making sure the children are being treated as if they are your own. Respecting what the parents ask of them and sticking to their rules. But in turn also having fun and keeping them happy and their brains thinking even when they aren’t in school! Being active and not always on electronics is also a big thing I try to hit on because it seems these days kids are just sat infront of screens

My experience with special needs children...

I was a respite care worker for a little girl with severe Autism from summer of 2016 to summer of 2019 and I still currently occasionally take time for her and her family
