While it is incredibly important to shape their young minds well, I think their safety, as well as enjoyment, is important to me. We can do all sorts of fun things, as long as we do it safely. I'm overprotective of all the babies, no matter what age. Or if they're even under my care. I'm always watching out

My experience with special needs children...

I've cared for high functioning autistic children, including my younger brother. Down syndrome, and nonverbal children. I have a few family members with each of these diagnosis'

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have very many favorite moments.. but some things are when a parent messages telling, or showing a video, of their child doing things I've taught them. Or when they've sent a video wishing me a happy birthday, merry Christmas, etc. it's so heartwarming and sweet. One morning I woke up with a message from an old students of mine mom, saying during bedtime prayer, Parker said don't forget we had to pray for Ms. Ashia. Just truly sweet, and the little things make me enjoy, and love teaching, and caring for children more, and more.
