Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

My experiences working with children include interning with the Ronald McDonald House at the Stanford Children’s Hospital, where I ran a camp and cared for patients of Stanford Children’s Hospital ages 2-18, Monday through Friday. I’ve also volunteered as a project read tutor aiding students with subjects such as math, reading, writing, and other tasks such as homework, and English language acquisition for Spanish-speaking students. This summer I’ve also been a camp counselor at S.T.A.R Camp working with children ages 9-14.

I believe the most important part about being a nanny is building a genuine connection with the children and building trust as well as a safe and comfortable environment for the kids and their family. I believe that ensuring a kids trust will allow children to feel supported and only emphasize a safe space which will allow me to be there for them in a way that truly meets children’s and their families needs.
