I’m Ashley!
A mommy of two children myself, they are big kids now off at school. I fell in love with childcare straight out of high school, from day camp counselor to prek teacher. I’ve enjoyed becoming a private nanny so much, getting to have such a personal relationship with children and their families. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked at a YMCA from 18-21, during my time I started as a summer camp counselor, after school care, then eventually made my way into the early childcare center where I really fell in love. I ended my time there to be a stay at home mom, as the afternoon prek teacher.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love having a more learning environment versus a whole day of play. I enjoy lesson planning so much! Motor skill learning and more.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think it’s being the person that is most around these children (their biggest influence) I pretty much view it as my teachers at school. It’s that you are supposed to love these littles just as much as their parents. My favorite favorite things is seeing their growth, just as you get to over a school year. They change so much year to year it’s awesome to be a part of their milestones.

My experience with special needs children...

I do not have much experience with special needs children but I am so willing to learn. I think anyone that is blessed enough to be part of those children’s lives are the lucky ones!

The most important part about being a nanny...

A most recent moment, when my current 2yr old baked cookies with his mom for me. In his sweetest voice said “ashhhy these for you” they made four different kinds with a note it honestly was the sweetest thing ever!
