A little bit about me

I am second oldest in in a family of six and grew up with my mother running an in-home day care. Throughout my high school and college years I babysat and nannied for various families. During my senior year of high school I cared for my landlord’s elderly mother as well as attended part time culinary classes at Bob Jones university. After high school I continued to pursue a degree in culinary arts until switching to an education degree. I began to attend West Coast Baptist College in 2010 with a desire to teach in a private school. During my junior year, in 2013, I was asked to run the food service department of the college due to my experience in culinary arts. In 2017 I decided to finish my degree in education and pursue teacher. I have taught 1st grade for the past two years and have absolutely loved it! I’m looking for a more personal opportunity to work with a family doing what I love, cooking, clean, teaching, and taking care of people. Thank you for considering me!
