I was blessed with 3 children of my own and have a *Bonus daughter* that we raised and had full custody of for 7 years. I homeschooled all 3 children, who all went on to college and are very successful adults. I taught preschool for 10 years before going to work for Cabarrus County Schools. With all 3 children grown and married, I’d like to still work with children on more of a personal level instilling my love for learning, books and exploring the outdoors.

Lead Teacher for Building Blocks preschool from [phone number hidden]. I obtained my Early Childhood degree and did my practicum hours in an Elementary school where I ended up staying almost 5 years.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I have a love for books so reading to children is important to me. I like to work with children doing puzzles, legos and play doh to strengthen fine motor skills and the pincher grasp. Painting, drawing and anything creative. I love being outdoors and exploring the beauty all around us.
