Hi! My name is Ashley. I’m working towards getting my teaching certification. I have experience as a substitute teacher for K-12 and was a long term substitute as a special education aide for K-3. I also have experience as a nanny to a 3 year old and an 8 year old. I love working with children and will continue as an aide in the fall so I’m looking for nanny jobs for the summer. Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love coming up with cool crafts and fun experiments for kids to do. I enjoy just being goofy and creative and letting them do the same, when it’s time for that. I also love nature and wildlife science, so if your kids are interested in bugs or birds or the outdoors, we can find all kinds of educational things to do outside.

My experience with special needs children...

I was recently a long term substitute in an elementary special education classroom. I learned how to handle extreme behavior problems, special lunch needs, sensory overload, and ways to communicate with children who can’t express their emotions well. We worked with them every day to teach them to follow a schedule and to be as independent as they can.
