A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Ashley Gubanyar. I am currently a senior at Kent State University. My major is Human Development and Family Studies with a Child and Youth Development concentration. I spent one year interning as a paraprofessional crisis interventionist at Townhall II (Kent, OH) on their crisis helpline. I completed extensive training for that position. I am also a certified QMHS (Qualified Mental Health Specialist). I currently am interning for Children’s Advantage where I work in schools with children on a case management basis.
In my free time, I love reading, exploring nature, staying active, and writing! I am an assistant basketball coach for a freshmen team. I love children and through my studies I have learned a great deal on the development of individuals across the lifespan.
