I am a former Daycare teacher so being able to be in those positions really helped me learn that not everything is going to be happy and sunshine, but you get experience on how to talk to the child to help calm them down!

I love watching children make art and telling what they made, seeing their proud faces just makes you proud! I also would love to take them on little trips to find new things in the park or going to the aquariums, zoos, etc...

When I attended LCJVS we had a child who was select mute. It's not the same, but we had to figure out new ways we could make him feel comfortable with us so that he could communicate in his own way!
