Hi I’m a stay at home mom of two. My daughter is 6 years old and my son will be 2 in November. I’m looking to take care of children in my own home to be able to have my son adapt to your kids and they adapt to us. I can cook breakfast lunch and dinner. Plus snacks. I love being able to stay at home with my children and work at teaching them life skills. My daughter is at a Montessori school and eventually my husband and I would love to move to a homestead and homeschool or children. I look forward to meet with you!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have been a stay at home mom for the past 3 years and before that 3 years as a working mom out of home. So I know how hard it could be to leave your little ones to go to work. I loving taking care of my son( 22 months old) and my daughter (6 yrs old) she goes to a Montessori school. We are planning to head back east within the next couple of years to live on a homestead and homeschool both children. So you can tell I’m very patient and attentive. I actually homeschooled my daughter preschool when she was about 2 (because she started talking at the age of 11months and hasn’t stopped since (mostly why questions lol) she’s very curious and I love inspiring her to learn more. My son hasn’t yet began to talk in full sentences but is just as curious and adventurous as my daughter is. We love going on walks and to play at the park or in the backyard. We have chickens and one dog and a few fish. If you have anymore questions please don’t be afraid to ask. I’m an open book.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Walking, reading books, playing at the park, having picnics, playing with blocks, doing baby yoga learning our letters and numbers, what fruits and veggies are and so much more! If you have any suggestions on what you would like for me to do with your child(ren) I’m all ears!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is being attentive. Understand their needs and if you don’t understand you figure it out. Ages 0months to 18mths still haven’t figured out how to properly communicate their needs and if one thing doesn’t work then you move onto the next until their needs are met. 18months thru 2-4 can kind of communicate their needs but need help to learn. They need to be doing something that stimulates their mind for most of the time they’re awake.

My experience with special needs children...

I do not have extensive work with special needs children. However my daughter has a very high case of ADHD and I have done much research into it, and I can confidently say I know how to manage overly hyper children. I also have adhd so understand what it’s like to grow up not knowing when to calm down.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Well my favorite mom/neighborhood mom moments are when they smile. They have so much to learn in this world and I’d love to help shape the next generation of kids with better skill sets and how to navigate through it. I will say, I have never met kids like the ones that I have raised/helped raised who are so excited to learn. I take care of my family/friend circle and their kids love coming to aunt ash for advice and to play at my house and then when I talk to them about different topics they love it. My own daughter ,since she was about 3, started asking “when will I get to go to school?” Even now that she’s in first grade she wakes up every morning at 5am just to get ready for school. I’m not saying I’m this perfect mom because it’s holding yourself to an unrealistic standard but I do love helping parents and their children, and I love seeing how much they grow into beautiful humans.
