Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I engage with the children during all activities, and will never be on my phone. I love reading time, outdoor adventures (pretend going on a treasure hunt), assist them in building things with their hands (play dough, Legos, blocks, etc..). All activities will be age appropriate, and I will provide the children with a choice to choose the activity that they want to do first. Will discuss more with the parents.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I was a Nanny for sweet 2 ½ yr old twins girls, but they couldn't say my name "Ashley", so they called me "Nanny", & every morning that I arrived, with their cute voices, they would politely ask, "Nanny what we gonna do today"? It was so precious and even though it was a long time ago it still puts a smile on my face.
