Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have volunteered at a daycare program at Longden Elementary School located in Temple City, and I also have experience babysitting my nieces and nephews. My most recent job was at a Preschool near me. I had the opportunity to be around 2, 3, and 4 year olds. I was responsible for helping create a safe environment with lots of fun educational activities, and also was responsible for diaper changing and toilet training.

I love coloring and reading books with children. Anything to keep children active like walking outside or playing with toys is definitely a must. I also know that building blocks or kid puzzles are a great way to help children exercise their mind.

What matters to me about being a nanny would be being able to create a safe, loving relationship with the child. Nurturing a child is super important in order to have them feel loved and comfortable.

By volunteering at an Elementary school I did notice the extra work that is needed to care for a child with special needs and I would do everything that is needed to care for one. I also had experience at my most recent job at the preschool.

My favorite nanny moments would be the ones when I would play building blocks with my nephew and every time they would topple over he would always giggle with his face lit up, and we would just do it over and over.
