I was a preschool teacher at Cadence academy preschool. I would help in all of the rooms that they needed me. If they didn’t need me I would be in my room and that was between 3-5 year olds
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
The activities that I enjoy are doing lots of projects that are with fine motor skills and being outside and exploring nature and running and doing things the kids love to do.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important thing to me is taking care of them and teaching them all types of different things and always working hands on with fine motor skills and to teach them that things happen and it’s okay you can fix it get back up again and keep trying.
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with many kids that have special need from Down syndrome to having autism and I worked with them hands on and trying to help them and working with fine motor skills and I did Speech therapy, physical therapy.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment is when watching them grow and seeing their faces when they did something all on their own. One of the kids I used to nanny for loved playing outside and one day he kept on trying to hit the ball ( t-ball) and he kept on messing up but he kept on try and I would help him out and show him and then he kept on try and then he finally hit the ball and watching his face glow up was the best part of it all.
