I am a 20 year old college student currently attending Diablo Valley Community College. I am working on becoming a preschool teacher, I have 16 ECE credits already finished. For the past 4 years, I have worked at the same job as a early childhood teacher in a church, while babysitting once every few months. Now, I no longer work at the church and want to commit on only nannying while i finish my studies.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked at "The Bay Church" in the early childhood center as an early childhood attendant. There I supervised children of all ages even newborns. I changed diapers, taught them lessons, created and made crafts for them, prepared snack, ect.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Walking to any nearby parks if any, going out and watching them ride bikes, any types of sports, drawing/painting: I am very creative so I can make up a lot of arts and crafts to do if they are bored.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite thing about being a kid is how easy it is to look up to people, and how pure everyone seems in your eyes. So for me, my favorite moment in nannying would be when I put on drawing tutorials off youtube kids for the 2 kids and they both instead of watching the video, watched me and my paper because they wanted their drawings to look more like mine rather than the professional. Right then I felt very happy, kids are wonderful spirits who can make darkest times seem brights.
