I love spending time outside as much possible and I love reading with children. I prioritize intentional playtime with age appropriate toys and games. While the occasional movie can be a fun activity, I don't include screen time as a daily activity.

Feeding and basic care are what I would consider to be the most important parts of being a nanny, but not the only important parts. Having a consistent care provider is also very important, someone your child can trust and attach to when you can't be there. When you have made the decision to pay a nanny to provide childcare in your own home, you want someone you can get to know and feel comfortable with and have a much closer connection to than you would get from a care provider in a childcare facility. When I have worked for a nanny in the past, I have built close relationships with parents and felt like a member of their family. I think that familial relationship is very important when working as a nanny and it is what separates a nanny from other types of childcare providers.
