Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I briefly worked at a daycare center as a preschool teacher taking care of 2-3 year olds with some 4 and 5 year olds in the mix. While working there, I taught the kids their ABC's, colors, shapes, days of the week and months of the year. I also served them breakfast, snacks, lunch and more snacks!!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Coloring, puzzles, building things, hide and seek. Any kind of game or activities the kids like to play, I will too! My inner child loves to come out every chance she gets!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The part I love about being a nanny is when you walk into the room and the kids run up to you or smile at you and give you a hug. There is nothing better and more heartwarming than that. I give a close second of being able to make the child or children laugh with their heart and soul.
My experience with special needs children...
In middle and high school, I helped take care of the kids who were gifted and special, mainly with autism, and it was the highlight and funniest part of my day and life. I loved working with them and being around their smiling faces instantly made me smile.
