Hi! My name is Ashlyn😊 I have been babysitting pretty much my whole life because I come from a big family with lots of littles running around. I will say it wasn’t necessarily my choice to take care of them but I’m glad that I gained the skills and knowledge of how to take care of children when I did. I’m still on the younger side as i’m 18 years old but if you give me the opportunity I can show you that I am very responsible, respectful, patient, and loving. Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love the outdoors so I would definitely love to go to the park and play with them. I love using chalk for outside time and also finding leaves to color over with crayons. On days we can’t be outside we can color inside or play a game! Number games and working with the alphabet are my favorites. I have so many little activities I love to do with kids, their imaginations are wild when they’re young and it’s also healing to do the things I wish I could’ve done when I was younger.

The most important part about being a nanny...

is being patient. Working with kids is a skill and you have to understand they’ve been in the world a lot less time than you have. They are still learning everything and you’re their guidance. I try to remember what it was like when I was a kid and help than navigate the right decisions and how life can throw you obstacles that feel like the end of the world at that age. Patience is key.
