Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Relevant experience where I also cared for children includes volunteering and teaching in refugee camps, working as an ESL tutor, and helping kids with homework and creative activities. I’ve supported children of all ages, from toddlers to pre-teens, creating safe, fun, and engaging environments where they can learn and grow. Being the oldest of seven, I’ve also managed daily routines, sibling dynamics, and everything in between- so I’m no stranger to hands-on, practical childcare!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Going on hikes, building pillow forts, art, backyard scavenger hunts, visiting the park, and more! I love to bring imagination and play into the activities I do with kids to keep things engaging and fun for them.

My experience with special needs children...

I worked with children and teens with down syndrome and autism for two months at a nonprofit in Turkey called the Little Prince Academy. During my time there, I was trained in tailored communication strategies, sensory-friendly activities, and individualized support techniques to help each child thrive. I learned how to adapt lessons and activities to meet different needs, build patience and understanding, and create a safe, encouraging environment where every child felt valued and included.
