Is to make sure the children have the correct guidance for them to be respectful, kind to others, and to treat them how you want to be treated. I also feel that the most important part is to make sure that they are taken care of!
My experience with special needs children...
I have a younger sister who is deaf , hard of hearing. I have no problem with communicating with her or any of her friends. Some of her friends are deaf, and others have different types of special needs as well, but it never stopped them from having fun or feeling like they were apart of something.
