Creating a safe and loving environment. I want these kids to feel supported and comfortable being 100% themselves. I believe it's extremely important to let children grow, learn and develop their confidence while also being valued and cared for. Here and there I'll interact with a special needs child. It takes me a second to learn their boundaries but once I do it's always a great time!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I've never been a nanny before, so I have yet to experience that. However working with kids for the past 3 1/2 years I love when they feel comfortable enough to confide in me, or when I'm not at work and they ask my co-workers about me, they start to feel like my little siblings and it's just a beautiful feeling.
