I’ve been babysitting since I was 15. I worked at multiple schools and daycare facilities as well as in home daycares. I’ve been a live in nanny and also have been a early child care home school teacher specializing in infant development.

I love to do sensory activites with my younger kids and educational activites such as choosing a topic and making a game out of it to teach them. I love playing outside with them and reading books.

Being a nanny you are a big part of this child’s childhood and being patient and caring is so very important. To pour positivity and to not treat it like a job but a responsibility is very important.

I have worked with special needs children in a classroom setting. I believe patience and educating yourself and spending one on one time with the child is important.

The most important part about being a nanny...

the sweetest moment was when I realized my nanny child created a very special bond with me and would make me cards and such things on their free time. The excitement when I come is such a heartwarming feeling.
