The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is developing a friendship with the children you are watching. Building that bond can help form trust and security which is important with a children. It is also important to take their already familiar home life and continue that on through nannying. Such as, house rules, daily activities, homework, and bedtime. By keeping these all the same, it allows me to still be a nanny rather than a distraction.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I previously babysat for a family with 4 children. Each one had to learn Spanish though the school they attended. I am not fluent in spanish but familiar with all the words. While helping them with their homework, we both ended up learning something new. This was my favorite nanny moment because it showed the kids that there is always something new to learn and us adults have things to learn as well.
